Captured
The ‘single erratic display’ – irregular, unpredictable movements – is a characteristic of how single prey animals flee from a predator. Leena Riethmuller’s activated flight mechanism will pit the body against architecture, mammalian behaviour against the automatic functioning of power in the channel known as the ‘back track’. The flesh of the body is funnelled into a relentless stony moat separating the prison yard from the outermost perimeter of a space that continues to press inward, and be brought to you by surveillance technologies near and far.
